Ali Mariko
With a background in both performing arts and marine science/climate action, Ali Mariko brings multifaceted experience to everything that she does. She’s performed as a dancer, character actor, immersive actor, and clown at shows worldwide, including EDC (Japan, China & Mexico), the Syndey Royal Easter Show, and Beyond Wonderland in Colombia. She’s also robbed trains as a train bandit at Knott’s Berry Farm, spread smiles and joy as a clown with Dragon Knights Stilt Show at the OC Fair, and meaningfully engaged countless others as an immersive actor for events such as Comic-Con, Delusion, Amazon’s Premiere of The Hunters, and many more. She also very much enjoys creating immersive art as a body paint model and has modeled for events such as SFS ArtFest, the Chocolate and Art Show, and Tiki Oasis. Ali also holds a master’s degree in Marine Conservation and Biodiversity from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, and she founded and leads ResilienSEA, a sci-art immersive group dedicated to connecting communities to ocean conservation and climate action through immersive experiences and performing arts.
